  5. SENIOR PHYSICS FACTS is a physics tutorial for students of 15+

  7. years of age. The topics covered in the tutorial are:-

  11. 6. Electrostatics, 7. Current electricity, 8. Magnetism, 9. Atomic

  13. physics, 10. Electronics, 11. Nuclear physics.

  15.  
  16. There are test questions at the end of each chapter.
  17.  
  18.  
  19. Historical facts about many famous physicists are also included.

  43. Getting started:
  44.  
  45. The tutorial can be run from a single 3½" floppy drive. Type `SENPHY' to
  46.  
  47. run the program. Press `ENTER' to proceed to the main menu. Use the arrow
  48.  
  49. keys, space bar or mouse to move about the menu to select a topic and then
  50.  
  51. press `ENTER'. Use the space bar, arrow keys or mouse to move between the
  52.  
  53. various options at the bottom of the screen and press `ENTER' or the left mouse
  54.  
  55. button to execute them.
  56.  
  57. To use the hypertext move the cursor to the highlighted word and press enter
  58.  
  59. or the left mouse button.

  62. HARD DISK INSTALLATION:
  63.  
  64. Type `SENPHYHD' followed by ENTER from the DOS prompt with the disk in drive A.
  65.  
  66. i.e.
  67.  
  68. A: SENPHYHD  <ENTER>
  69.  
  70.  
  71. This will create a directory called SENPHY and then copy the files on the disk
  72.  
  73. to this directory. To run the program type SENPHY followed by ENTER.

  76. Manual installation:-
  77.  
  78. Change to the root directory of your hard disk by typing CD\
  79.  
  80. Type MD SENPHY (This will create a directory called SENPHY)
  81.  
  82. Place the SENIOR PHYSICS FACTS floppy disk in drive A.
  83.  
  84. Change to drive A by typing A: <ENTER>
  85.  
  86. Type COPY *.* C:\SENPHY <ENTER>   ( or XCOPY *.* C:\SENPHY <ENTER> if you
  87.  
  88. have DOS 3.3 or higher.)
  89.  
  90. This will copy all the files on the floppy disk to the SENPHY directory on
  91.  
  92. your hard disk.
  93.  
  94. Now change to the hard disk by typing C: <ENTER>
  95.  
  96. Change to the SENPHY directory by typing CD SENPHY <ENTER>

  98. Now type SENPHY <ENTER> to run the program.
